Comments on: BYE BYE REDWING BOOTS!!! http://kicksonfleek411.com/?p=22413 My site Fri, 19 Oct 2018 06:45:37 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=4.9.3 By: Brad1237202 http://kicksonfleek411.com/?p=22413#comment-18912 Fri, 20 Jan 2017 22:46:19 +0000 http://kicksonfleek411.com/?p=22413#comment-18912 I bought a pair of Red Wings for $256.00. Within two months the sole was coming off the right boot. They wouldn't replace the boot, but sent ot somewhere local to have it stitched with white thread. The soles were black! Not impressed for sure. Have since bought Georgia Boot and Thorughgood Boots. Going on five years now with no issues with either boot. I also see "some" Red Wings are now made overseas.

Sad to see, RW was the standard for work boots down here for at least 50 years.

I wear 8" side zip Reebok composite toe boots. They are as lite as house shoes and super comfy. They last me 18 months & $100 a pair. I have been wearing them for 10 years now. I will never wear anything else.

The heel takes some getting used to but I think you will be happy with them. They look like nice boots
