Yeezy Season 6 Crepe available now in multiple colorways.
Kanye West’s new Yeezy Season 6 sneaker, which is unlike any of the Yeezys that have come before it, has just released at select retailers.
The kicks are reportedly expected to appear at select shops in the coming months, including Spanish retailer Sivasdescalzo, where the kicks are currently up for grabs. The suede version of the Yeezy Season 6 Crepe sneaker is available in three colorways including black, chalk, and taupe for approximately $496, while the premium Python version of the crepe sneaker is retailing for roughly $1,426.
The three suede pairs are comprised of a thick shaggy suede. The $1,426 version was crafted from authentic snakeskin, hence the much steeper price tag. Unlike Kanye’s previous sneaker releases, the Yeezy Season Crepe sneaker does not appear to be a collab with Adidas, and the only form of branding on the shoe comes in the form of the “Season 6” text which is hidden on the insole of the shoe.

6 months Later: adidas Yeezy 500 review
So it has been 6 months since the Yeezy 500 originally released, and since then we have seen only 3 colorways drop, with more on the way. The original hype was big, then died off, and were considered bricks.. but fast forward a bit, and the market seems to have adjusted a bit.
here is my 6 month retrospective review of the Yeezy 500.

Lets talk about the Yeezy 500, start off with an overview of the model
Adiprene midsole

So 6 months later, and with hype increasing on newer colorways and resale rebounding, does it change your opinion of this yeezy model? it is one you have tried and you were happy to have got, or do you have regrets? Some sizes are now commanding a $600-$700 resale and once sold for a $15 profit.
Hype aside i think this model is just different, and I think once there is a stigma of “those yeezys aren’t cool” it actually makes some people desire them more than the “cool” kicks.
Here are some of my Pros / Cons of the Yeezy 500
Pros
Layers
Retro feel on new model
Chunky is in
Smaller sizes for women, adidas has been great about this
surprisingly comfy on feet
life without boost is ok.
Cons
very limited colorways
doesn’t showcase layers
may be too chunky for some.
$200 price point
model may not age well due to the unique design (not timeless)
Final thoughts? with more saturation of these, the original 3 colorways will likely increase in value, and the triple black colorway has to be my favorite of the group. I regret selling the Blush Desert Rat colorway as well. This open market is fairly unpredictable now a days so if you see sneakers like these that you genuinely like, and can get for retail or close to that, then disregard the resale hype and just do it… or u know what I mean.

These new Yeezy 500 Super Moon Yellows are coming in hotter than a Jackson Hole bonfire. The latest colorway in the Yeezy 500 line, these use adiPrene cushioning in place of BOOST and feature a chunkier look that will grow on you (trust us). This all-moon yellow pair was the first colorway that dropped, as part of the Yeezy season 6 bundle, followed by a wider release in June of 2018. Fans of Ye need to make “No Mistakes” and add this Yeezy 500 colorway into the collection asap.

Kanye is back, this time with a brand new colorway of the Yeezy 500. Keeping it monochromatic, this pair is covered entirely in one color: utility black. Like other Yeezy 500s, this pair features a suede upper with mesh paneling. In addition, the midsole utilizes adidas’ Adiprene cushioning technology. Releasing in July, 2018 this pair retailed for $200 and is now available to cop on StockX today.

Here is a tutorial on how i dip dyed my Yeezy Boosat 350 V2 Triple White sneakers and changed them from the cream white color to something much crazier!

Here are the steps!
Step 1 remove laces / insoles
Step 2 heat up water to rolling boil
Step 3 place bottle of dye in water, I prefer the SYNTHETIC DYE
Step 4 Cover shoes & laces in water for 30 mins, rotate as needed if not fully submerged!
Step 5 in another container fill with HOT water, add color stay fixative.
Step 6 place shoes / laces in fixative for 30 mins
Step 7 if color is not as saturated, place back in pot for 30 mins or so, then repeat step 6.
Step 8 place in dryer on LOW heat, delicates, with old towels.
Finish drying and relace!

Why I think the YEEZY BSKTBL Sneakers Are An Important Collab
My first gut reaction to Yeezy Basketball sneakers was rough. I was like many and thought, why the heck is he expanding to basketball, he knows nothing about performance basketball! Stick to lifestyle Ye! But then I thought about this a little deeper, and it actually might be the best creating Kanye has come up with to date so in this video I explain 5 reasons why.
5 – Basketball Sneakers are the foundation of sneaker culture. Its not shocking to hear that, and more over, this has been an evolved culture with a fine line between performance and retros. If Ye can bridge this gap then he can bring some of the love back to bball shoes.
4 – Retro, off court appeal – the design is just crazy enough to make people think it is a retro, which in this day and age allow this to have a larger audience since it also has off court appeal. having his announcement of the sneakers og him rocking the shoes in the streets in chicago… speaks to me, super smart.
which leads me to my next point
3 – Performance basketball sneakers have struggled to sell in all brands
2 – revival of adidas basketball? it needs a facelift, did you even know the flagship drose 6s released and went to clearance?
1- yeezy does it- but will it perform? designed these but not alone, sounds like he has some other designers helping bring his cloud visions to a reality, which means they should be cross checking design with functionality and performance. reality is the sneaker market has over-engineered and overthought new inventive gimmicks to sell sneakers and Kanyes sneakers look more designed for casual but can probably perform well also since, well, people can legit still rock Air Force 1s to hoop in, so you dont need the Hexagonal Zoom air with blah blah Blah.
